How to make Kasumishimo

Last night, I spent over 60 minutes recording a video all by myself… and boy, did I realize how bad I am at explaining things (><). Even if I understand it myself, if I can’t explain it well to others… it feels like I don’t understand it at all. Speaking alone in front of the camera is tough… I’m considering editing the footage together to make it coherent. Editing is a technique… well, it’s normal to edit, but… ideally, I want to nail it in one shot! ← I know, I’m being demanding (Lol). So, I’ve decided to use written explanations and images to supplement the video, as sometimes, the video alone just can’t cover it all. The photos below are from the special feature shoot.

This time, I used the SUISIN-Hayate, but honestly, explaining with a full steel knife like the INOX-Honyaki might have been more convincing! During the Miracle Edge days, I went all out with it! (^^)b ← I’ll go for that prized sharpening!
