Preparation of Honbazuke

Starting tomorrow, I’ll be tackling the backlog of Honbazuke requests. Normally, I’d begin by flattening my stones before starting any sharpening, but considering the volume this time, I wanted to dive into Honbazuke with a fresh mindset. So today, I took the time to thoroughly clean all the working stones.

At the same time, I carefully observed the knives I’ll be sharpening tomorrow, thinking about how best to approach each one. I’m really looking forward to seeing if the sharpening goes as planned!
