Rough sharpening

I’ve uploaded some photos related to the sharpening mechanics. This is a knife that had an issue with ‘Aike’ appearing during the rough sharpening stage, so the sharpener wasn’t able to proceed with finishing it.

As you look at the photos, you might notice where the blade makes contact with the whetstone and where it doesn’t.
