Vacuum is Created!

I was sharpening a hone-kiri knife on a Suita stone and ended up grinding it way too flat… It got so stuck to the stone that it wouldn’t move! I even tried lifting it, thinking it might come off the stone, and the whole stone lifted up with it. I figured the mud was to blame, so I cleaned it thoroughly and removed the excess mud, but the result was the same.

I thought using a nagura stone to add more mud would help, but that backfired (Lol). With no other choice, I focused on sharpening just the edge on the Suita. I wanted to lay it flat from the shinogi line to the edge to achieve a cleaner look.

As for the sharpness, I managed to create a blade that cuts through hamo bones cleanly. It grips well and enters smoothly, so I might even be able to make finer cuts in the fish.
